AN INVITATION TO ALL KENSHI TO JOIN US

pasted-graphic

The 39th Anniversary Camp is hosted by the Ann Arbor and World Bank Branches. We invite all Kenshi who wish to join us over Memorial Day weekend for a 2½ day training camp.

*NOTE: Cornell Camp does NOT qualify as an official WSKO seminar for purposes of meeting testing requirements.*

Cornell Camp also has a unique tradition: All attending Kenshi participate in running the camp including cooking of meals and clean-up of the facilities we use. We get early each morning for a short run, practice all day, and finish in the evening with discussion of philosophy. It is our tradition for all Kenshi to participate fully in all of the activities of the day.

WHY SHOULD I GO?
Because it’s a lot of fun and a great way to re-energize your training. You will get two and a half days of great training and excellent instruction. You will gain a new perspective on Shorinji Kempo and see your skills in a new light. In addition, Cornell Camp is simply a great way to put into practice our philosophy.

Kenshi of any level are encouraged to come!

OUR INSTRUCTOR: SAKUYAMA SENSEI
This year we are especially privileged to have our friend Sakuyama Sensei teaching at Camp. Sakuyama Sensei is from Ibaraki, Japan. He was a student of Kaiso at Hombu and is an amazing teacher.
